What to Do in Uxbridge, According to Cindy
Our fearless team leader, Cindy Wood, has always loved supporting and promoting local businesses. With so many excellent shops and services around, it’s an enjoyable habit to indulge! Here are a few of Cindy’s suggestions if you’re looking for a fun and elevated way to enjoy Uxbridge:
Spend an afternoon shopping: The Passionate Cook Essentials, Rutledge Jewellers, Jillian’s Downtown, and Blue Heron Books all get the Cindy Wood seal of approval! These are just a few of the unique, independently owned shops that this incredible town has to offer.
Enjoy a meal out: Uxbridge restaurants are among the best you’ll find anywhere in the GTA! We have too many to name. On any given day, you just may spot our team members happily munching away at 9 By Tin, Slabtown Cider, and Urban Pantry. We particularly look forward to patio season every year when the warm weather arrives.
Relax at the spa: A facial or a massage at Creekside Wellness will have you feeling brand new. Few things compare to sitting back with your feet elevated as highly trained attendants work to soothe your cares away.

Exploring the Town With Dana
9 By Tin gets high marks from our entire team! Cindy loves dining here, and it’s also one of Dana’s top places to grab a bite, along with Slabtown Cider and One-Eyed Jack.
In between meals, Dana also loves her downtime. If you’re looking for a personal recommendation, the relaxing massages at The Great Little Massage Company are the best, according to both Dana and Lindsay. It’s one way to rejuvenate your body and soul!

An Elevated Guide to Uxbridge Life by Ashley and Nicole
Ashley and Nicole are our resident experts when it comes to exploring Uxbridge’s many hot spots. Ashley’s morning typically begins by walking with her dog in Elgin Park – or in one of the many beautiful green spaces around town.
Later on, she’ll check out what’s playing at The Roxy Theatre. Either before or after the movie, she might grab a snack at Vince’s Market or Kawartha Dairy. Of course, Tuesday Wing Night at Wixan’s Bridge is always a treat!
As a fellow dog lover, Nicole often takes her pooch to explore Uxbridge hiking trails like Durham Forest. There’s so much to see that it’s a favourite destination for many locals and their four-legged pals!
The Off-Leash Dog Park is an epic experience for humans and canines alike, with a full hectare of fully fenced areas where well-behaved pups young and old can run and play. There’s also a smaller enclosure where little dogs can safely explore. That way, no one gets left out of the fun.
When it’s the doggo’s naptime, Nicole might join Cindy for a delightful service at Refine Brow Studio. That’s when she’s not busy meeting up for coffee at The Bridge Social or sampling the menu at Fig Kitchen, Slabtown Cider, or The Second Wedge.

Exploring the Sports Scene in Uxbridge
As our team’s sporting enthusiast, Lindsay is thrilled with the brand-new pickleball courts in Uxbridge! Between that and skiing at Lakeridge Ski Resort, her calendar is booked with activity all year long. Regular massages at The Great Little Massage Company keep her relaxed and at the top of her game in between seasons.
After working up an appetite, Lindsay can often be found dining out with friends and colleagues at 9 By Tin, Slabtown Cider, and Nest.
